EAT | Cinnamon Donuts

Hello!  Today I have a very special treat for you!  We are making up a batch of cinnamon donuts.  These are warm and delicious, and will smell up your house with the nutmeg and cinnamon.  You will need a special donut pan for this recipe, I am using this gold Threshold donut pan from Target.

What you’ll need:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

For topping:

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • cinnamon sugar for dipping

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg in a large bowl.

In a smaller bowl, combine your egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.

Slowly pour your wet mixture into your flour mixture and combine until batter is smooth.

Grease your donut pan well, and spoon mixture into the cavities.

Bake at 350 degrees for 17-18 minutes, or until the tops are firm to the touch.

The smell of these baking is amazing.
Let them cool for about 5 minutes.  This makes them easier to remove from the pan.

Dip donuts into melted butter, and then into cinnamon sugar.

This recipe makes about 18 donuts.

Enjoy!  These are definitely a crowd pleaser. 🙂

Thanks for reading! xx
