Pina Colada Shake and Workout Inspo

It’s fit girl summer! I have been trying super hard to eat healthier and work out. Today I am sharing my favorite shake and also my favorite workouts that I like to do.

I love to have a shake in the mornings or afternoons when I want a sweet treat but want to go the healthy route. My favorite is mixing vanilla protein with fruit. Here is how I make my “pina colada” inspired shake! This shake is under 200 calories, and is so nice and refreshing.

What you need:

  • Vanilla protein powder
  • Bananas
  • Pineapple
  • Ice
  • Water

Add some ice to your cup. I am using a 22 oz cup that goes along with my Magic Bullet.

Add in one scoop of vanilla protein powder. I am using Pure Protein, 160 calories per scoop.

Add in pineapple and banana. I use frozen fruit so it has a frosty consistency.

Add in 8 oz of water. You can use milk, but I prefer water.

Blend it up and enjoy!

This shake is so creamy and delicious, and keeps me full for hours!

In addition to adding protein shakes to my daily routine, I also have committed to working out one hour per day. I like to workout at home, and I have found a lot of good workouts that I actually enjoy doing.

First thing is cardio. I have a stationery bike and a stepper that I use daily to get in my cardio. These are great at getting my heart rate up.

I also like to do arm and ab workouts. For these, I love to follow along with Madfit on Youtube. These videos are ten minutes each, and really make a difference!

I have a pair of 3 lb weights that I use for the arm workout, and also a resistance band that I use on my legs and thighs.

What are your favorite workouts to do? Share your tips in the comments!

Thanks for reading xx
