Seventh Sparkle

It is officially August aka the hottest month of the year! I thought it would be a great time to talk all about sunscreen and the ones that I think are the best. We have a pool, and we swim pretty much every day. These sunscreens are our go-tos and we never get sunburned with these.

First up, my sunscreen and go-to summer foundation.

I have used this Paula’s Choice Super Light Daily Wrinkle Defense for YEARS and it has never done me wrong. This has SPF 30, feels super lightweight under makeup, and is tinted. Since it has a tint, I usually don’t wear foundation with it, but if I do…

It’s gonna be the It Cosmetics CC Cream. This has SPF 50 and is such a good foundation. It doesn’t feel thick on the skin, and I like to use just a little bit for light coverage, but you can build it up to full coverage. This foundation also has anti aging properties and is very hydrating on the skin.

For my body, I’m just a regular ‘ol Banana Boat girl. I like spray on sunscreen best, I find that it’s just easier and blends better. I apply this all over my whole body and I’m good to go. This Sport one sprays out clear and feels very cooling.

Can’t forget to protect your lips, so I LOVE these Sun Bum Lip Balms. These smell DELICIOUS and have SPF 30. My girls also really like these and use them on the daily. Our favorite is the banana, it smells EXACTLY like Banana Laffy Taffy.

For the girls’ faces, I use this Sun Bum Kids Face Stick.

This sunscreen stick looks small, but it has lasted about 3 months with almost daily use. It is a little clear gel stick that I use on my girls’ faces. It has SPF 50, smells just like the banana lip balm, and works like a charm. The girls don’t wear hats in the pool, and haven’t been sunburned on their faces yet.

They also use the Banana Boat spray, just like the one I use except it’s tear free (very important) and it sprays out white. It has SPF 50 also.

That’s it for all of the sunscreen! I have repurchased all of these multiple times and they really work for us.
