Review + Demo: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Anti Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

Hey guys! Today I am reviewing the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer. Whew! That is the longest name ever, but I don’t mind saying it because I love it so much!

You might notice that mine looks a little different, and it’s because I ripped off that sponge tip applicator cause I didn’t like the way it felt underneath my eye. I own this is two shades, but the shade that I am going to be reviewing today is the Brightener.

20131209-134918.jpg Here they are swatched on my hand. The pinky toned one is the Brightener, and the other shade is Fair, which is the lightest color I believe, and it’s a normal skin tone color.
So, onto the application. You can get the product out by twisting the top of it, and the product comes up. There is quite a bit of product in here, which is good! So, the way I apply this is to dot it underneath my eyes and pat it in with my ring finger. The product is very creamy, and very pigmented. A little bit goes a long way.

20131209-135338.jpgSee those blue toned circles? I can’t believe I am posting that on the Internet! lol. I am only doing the left eye, the right eye has no product underneath. Here is how it looks when I’m finished blending.

Can you see the difference? It almost completely covers up my circles. Keep in mind, there is no product underneath the right eye.

So, this is quickly becoming my favorite concealer. I really love the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch in Radiant, which is also a pinky tone. But, with that product you don’t get very much in the package, and it doesn’t have as good of coverage as this does.
If you have a cooler skin tone, and you have blue under eye circles, I would definitely try this product out! I recommend the Brightener shade because the pink tone cancels out the blue, and it makes your under eye look brighter. If you are a warmer skin tone, there is a Neutralizer shade that is more yellow based. There are a bunch of shades to choose from.
You always want to use a concealer that is lighter than your skin tone and foundation, so it will give you a brighter effect under your eyes.

Have you tried this product? Let me know how you like it, or if you plan to try it.
Have a great day, and thanks for reading!

I hope you like it! 🙂

  2. I absolutely love this concealer too! I use the one in neutralizer and I mix it with my Maybelline Dream Lumi in Radiant to get the perfect amount of coverage and brightening. I also take off the sponge too! I’m glad I’m not alone in that haha. I think it blends better when I apply it with my fingers. Love your review!

    1. Thanks! That is such a good idea, I am going to try mixing the two! Haha I have no idea why they thought that sponge was a good idea. 🙂
